LVSIM-EMS

The Electromechanical Systems Simulation Software (LVSIM®-EMS) is a simulation software that covers the same courseware as the Computer-Assisted 0.2-kW Electromechanical Training System (EMS), Model 8006. With LVSIM-EMS, all the standard EMS laboratory equipment is replaced by images of the actual EMS modules that students can manipulate on the computer screen. Students can identify and set up equipment for a given exercise, make the necessary connections between the virtual EMS modules, and verify the connections made without the need for actual EMS equipment.

Make use of the smart components of KUKA.Sim that are supplied in the extensive component library or download the models via the Internet by means of the KUKA.Sim web catalog.
The library offers numerous smart components that are not just geometric but also partly parametric in design and are provided with a function that you can actively deploy in your simulation (e.g. conveyor belts, light barriers, etc.). For example, you can load a safety fence and adapt its height and width according to your needs. This modular principle makes it unnecessary to create new components from scratch, thereby saving you valuable time

All the components’ I/O points can be accessed and controlled externally by any third party technology through Connect I/O.



Home I/O

HOME I/O is a real time simulation of a smart house and its surrounding environment, designed to cover a wide range of curriculum targets within Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. HOME I/O allows users to control 174 interactive devices, typically found in a real house, through a built-in Home Automation Console. Together with CONNECT I/O, users can also connect to external technologies, both hardware as software. With state of the art 3D graphics and an FPS video game approach (first-person shooter), HOME I/O offers a unique learning experience with immersive and motivating hands-on activities for several educational and vocational areas.



Connect I/O

Connect I/O is an application which is able to communicate with different types of technologies, both software and hardware, and works as a bridge between them. The application is a visual programming environment that allows you to draw data flows and programs. It enables the creation and control of data flows between input and output points. A built-in function blocks SoftPLC plugin is included. Connect I/O also presents a modular design which allows new functionalities to be implemented with plugins. The .NET assembly EngineIO.dll (SDK) allows efficient inter-process communication, i.e. data exchange with third-party applications. This is how Connect I/O interfaces with other Real Games software.
